ICSE Deserves to Be Taught as ICSE
ICSE families in Pimple Saudagar run into the same problem again and again: most tuition classes are built around one board, and the ICSE child is quietly fitted into whichever batch is closest. It sounds workable. In practice the child ends up studying from the wrong textbook, practising the wrong question style, and writing answers in a format their own examiner is not looking for.
Wise Tutorials teaches ICSE students to the CISCE syllabus their school actually follows. The differences are not cosmetic. From Class 9, Science stops being one subject and becomes Physics, Chemistry and Biology as separate papers with separate depth. English runs as two papers, Language and Literature. Across subjects the board expects answers to be explained and justified rather than simply stated — which means the writing itself has to be taught, not assumed.
Where ICSE Students Usually Lose Marks
Rarely from not knowing the material. Far more often from answers that are too short. An ICSE paper rewards complete working: the step shown, the reason named, the diagram labelled, the unit written. A student who has spent years giving one-line answers walks into the board exam with the right knowledge and the wrong habits, and the marks reflect the habits.
So answer-writing is part of the teaching here, not an afterthought. Students learn how much to write, in what order, and where the marks in a question actually sit — practised weekly rather than discovered during the board exam.
From Class 1 Foundations to the Class 10 Maths Paper
In Classes 1–5 the priority is reading fluency alongside arithmetic, because the ICSE curriculum leans on English comprehension early and a child who reads slowly is slowed down in every subject. Classes 6–8 broaden fast, so concepts are taught until they genuinely land — gaps left here are what resurface as "weak in Maths" two years later. Class 9 is treated as a board year in all but name.
For Class 10 we run Maths-only specialist coaching — commercial mathematics, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, statistics and probability, with full papers under time limits. We are deliberately clear that Class 10 is Maths only. In the board year we would rather do one subject thoroughly than several partially. Everything else we offer, including all-subject Class 9 tuition and foundation coaching for the younger classes, is built to make that final year easier.

ICSE Tuition, Class by Class
Class 1–5 (ICSE)
Early ICSE years lean hard on English and comprehension. We build reading fluency and arithmetic confidence together, so later subjects are not held back by language.
Class 6–8 (ICSE)
The syllabus broadens quickly here. Concepts are taught until they are genuinely understood, and written answers are trained early — a habit that pays off in Classes 9 and 10.
Class 9 (ICSE)
All-subject coaching for the year Science splits into Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Class 9 carries directly into the board year, so it is taught with board seriousness.
Class 10 (ICSE) — Maths Only
Specialist Mathematics board preparation: commercial maths, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry and statistics, with full timed papers and presentation training.
ICSE batches are small by design — seats are limited.
